LIZZIE SIDER THE STORY BEHIND BUTTERFLY

Global Women’s Empowerment Network is committed to transforming lives and engaging in the dialog of healing and change in the areas of abuse.
School bullying is a huge topic in the world today globally, as well as the abuses that children are going through with the tragic events and stresses that are occurring at a much too rapid rate (school mass shootings, suicides, homicides etc.).
It’s time to come together as a community and expose the troubles and find solutions.
We are very proud to be part of a launch and premiere of a very talented young artist by the name of Lizzie Sider. The story behind her song “Butterfly” shows the arc of her experience of being bullied by her fellow classmates. Chastising, mockery, bullying and more… this goes on in our classrooms more than is being admitted.
However Lizzie is a role model for all people around the world, as she has the courage to face her abusers and emotional attackers as she takes a stand of her becoming the “butterfly” who can withstand all trials.. the inner beauty shines through.
Lizzie is one of our GWEN music artists who will be on our compilations in 2013. We are so very proud of her and will watch in amazement as her story inspires others and her career takes flight bigger than any of the brightest butterflies on earth. Angel wings take flight!
