LIZZIE SIDER TO CELEBRATE BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH IN LAS VEGAS

World Trust Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit will present its youth ambassador, country singer/songwriter Lizzie Sider, during the Life is Beautiful festival , a music, food, art and learning festival in Downtown Las Vegas Oct. 24-26.

Sider will be interviewed for the Life is Beautiful HD Streaming event and record public service announcements to inspire young people to become global citizens. Currently on a national media tour, the star is actively promoting her anti-bullying awareness campaign, “Nobody Has the Power to Ruin Your Day.” She is asking everyone to answer the question, “What will you do to change the world?” for World Trust Foundation’s Your Voice, Your Choice social media campaign.

With her debut single “Butterfly,” 16-year-old is rocking as a country chart sensation and role model and to fans of multiple generations. “Butterfly” is a song about Sider’s journey to overcome the teasing and bullying she experienced in elementary school. It has reached Top 40 on the Music Row Country Chart and received over 1,000,000 views on YouTube.

Sider discovered music and theater in Jackson, Wyoming, where she has spent the greater part of every summer since she was born. Growing up, Sider attended concerts of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum. Sider has opened for Jamie O’Neal and for Aaron Tippin.

The Life is Beautiful HD streaming event will feature select highlights of concerts, culinary demonstrations, art exhibitions and learning sessions in four vertical channels. Celebrity interviews and PSAs that promote global citizenship and aligned causes will also be featured throughout the streamcast. As youth ambassador of World Trust, Sider will be on hand to share personal experiences that inspired her to advocate for young people struggling with the issues like bullying that plagued her own childhood.

Designed as a fully interactive social experience, the online viewing screen will provide a social network platform where Sider’s fans can share their commitment to the Your Voice campaign during the live stream for several hours on each day of the festival.

Purposed as a fundraiser to support youth empowerment initiatives, the Life is Beautiful HD Streaming Event will be available to the public on a $20 donation-per-view basis at Events.WorldTrust.org.
